Portfolio Web Site/Summative
Congratulations! You've made it to the (almost) end of the grade 10 Comm Tech course and you only have one more major project to tackle - the summative portfolio. As discussed during class, you will use Weebly.com web hosting/templates to design a 5 page portfolio of this semesters' work -- complete with a brief description (1 to 2 paragraphs of what you: liked/enjoyed most/found difficult, new skills learned, etc.) and as many screen captures and/or work files (converted to pdf and/or jpg format). The main Banner/Header graphic will be created in Photoshop that may include your name, but will reflect your "personality/interest." This graphic may be used on all five of your pages, but for a higher mark, you should consider creating a graphic that is themed to your pages, e.g., your graphic with work samples in the background that pertain to page topic (for an example, see banner graphic video page within this web site).

- About Me: this is a "personal page" about you, as well as you will use this page to link to the other four pages (similar to this web site; Project page)
- Publishing: this is the "Desktop Publishing/Cloud Computing" sample newsletter as well as your Weebly web site (creation).
- Graphics: Combine Illustrator and Photoshop together - include the Photoshop projects (collage/DVD Cover); as well as all of your Illustrator/logo design work.
- Animation: 3D Max screen captures as well as rendered clips from each 3D Studio Max file (save individual frames as jpg file) and include the final animated "movie." (or at the very least, jpgs of frames)
- Video: The Chase Scene/Video Production project, screen captures and scanned/photographed storyboard of the final Chase Scene as well as your group's video should be proudly displayed on this page.
Note:
- Students will be given a Passworded access to their own web site within the Weebly.com site; http://students.weebly.com
- Students that have already created their own web site may continue to work on their web site provided they supply the URL address/link within the passworded site page.
- All pages must be printed to a pdf file. This file will be "archived/saved" much like any exam/summative is saved by the teacher as directed by WRDSB .
